Duma Manzi has a fascinating history:
The Cecil John Rhodes 1870 Heritage Site is situated at the heart of the reserve, where Rhodes and his brother Herbert first farmed cotton in 1870. On a section of the property, Hilltop House, built in 1880 by Rhodes, has been kept in its original state by the owners and offers a bygone era Victorian experience.
