Each luxury room has its own private deck overlooking the river, with mountain views. It is from this deck that you can begin to savour the spectacle and spirit of this special place. Be lulled to sleep by the sound of the water over the boulders and stones, and awake to the dawn chorus of the prolific bird life.
Fish Eagle Luxury Rooms:
Four beautifully decorated, open-plan luxury rooms give guests total seclusion in relaxed African intimate surroundings. The luxury rooms have their own communal pool to relax and take in the exquisite surroundings.
Sandstone Luxury Rooms:
The five luxuriously appointed rooms, each with their own private plunge pool, allow guests intimate tranquillity within the secluded
luxury room; providing romantic African charm.
Luxury Family Unit:
The Family Unit allows a quality bonding experience, for the whole family; whilst enjoying the beauty that is Duma Manzi. The Unit has its own private garden and rock pool. (Please note that the rock pool is not netted).

Duma Manzi has a fascinating history:
The Cecil John Rhodes 1870 Heritage Site is situated at the heart of the reserve, where Rhodes and his brother Herbert first farmed cotton in 1870. On a section of the property, Hilltop House, built in 1880 by Rhodes, has been kept in its original state by the owners and offers a bygone era Victorian experience.
